I went to Bolton Point Park with some very friendly students. They were going to detectives at a Grime Scene Investigation - investigating how humans have impacted the local environment. While they tested the water temperature and PH, constructed models to stop soil erosion into the lake and looked for micro-plastics, I had a great time on the play equipment.

I love my new friends; I am in love with Canberra! It was awesome experience: Parliament House, Mount Ainsley, War Memorial, sitting on top of someone's head, getting lots of hugs, voting for my local member, being the bus driver for the day and free flying because someone forgot the parachute. Thank you so much for taking me. Joey is the amazing adventurous travelling kangaroo from Narrabri.
It was raining at Swansea today. He says, "We really need rain back home. I have enjoyed my trip to Swansea and I am going visit to the Parliament House and Questacon to Canberra tomorrow."
When I finally arrived at Swansea, I saw the lake and the sea. It was blue!
I have never seen so much water before in my life. The grass was green and lush and people who live at Swansea were extremely friendly. I have never seen a bridge that opens up for boats before. Oh my! |
